Gia Riccelli is a Tennessee-Licensed Electrologist (New York is a non-licensed state), Clinical Certified Electrologist, and New York-Licensed Aesthetician, with an MBA. After 21+ years of Sales & Marketing with large and small corporations, she decided to strike out on her own pursuing other creative passions.

In November 2004, after 7 months of skincare schooling at The Principals of Success, Gia earned her Aesthetician’s license (skincare license). In 2005 she began working at the Renaissance Salon in Cleveland, TN as a licensed Aesthetician. There, she performed facials, eyebrow sculpting, body waxing and make-up application.

Having been a recipient of electrolysis treatment and being pleased with the truly permanent results, Gia began a 10 month program at the Tennessee Institute of Electrology in Nashville. In May of 2005, Gia successfully completed her schooling, passing both her mandatory National Exam and receiving her Certified Clinical Electrologist designation (one of two designations necessary for Electrology licensing in Tennessee) as well as her practical State License Exam earning her an Electrology license. Gia performs the latest modalities of electrolysis, which are thermolysis, galvanic and the blend. Electrolysis is the only FDA-approved form of permanent hair removal for all skin and hair colors/types.

Gia was asked to be a keynote speaker at the Association of Electrologists’ annual meeting in Nashville in April 2005, educating Tennessee licensed Electrologists about eyebrow shaping. In June 2005, her former Aesthetics school, Principals of Success, invited her to speak to the school’s aesthetician students on eyebrow sculpting.
